Human-rights research at Columbia

During his Columbia LL.M. year, Parth Singh undertook an academic-credit research assistantship with Luna Borges Pereira Santos from October 2024 to May 2025.

Research assistance

The appointment involved assistance with academic publications and reproductive-justice research. Borges is Columbia’s Lecturer in Law and Supervising Staff Attorney, with a research and clinical role in human rights.

An academic relationship

The assistantship received academic credit during the LL.M. year. It belongs alongside Parth’s degree and editorial work as an academic contribution, with its own period and responsibilities.

Related human-rights work

Participation in the Smith Family Human Rights Clinic provided a separate collaborative research setting. Parth contributed to clinic research undertaken with Amnesty International on fossil-fuel infrastructure and human rights.

After Columbia

The LL.M. was completed in 2025. Columbia’s alumni notice subsequently recorded his appointment at Ramseyer & Associates; the New York chapter describes that professional transition.
