The New York chapter

After completing his Columbia Law School LL.M. in 2025, Parth Singh joined Ramseyer & Associates in New York as a Foreign Attorney Associate. Beginning in August 2025, his work included legal research, drafting and cross-border coordination under the supervision of New York-admitted counsel.

Research, drafting and coordination

The role brought together detailed legal research, written analysis and coordination on matters connecting jurisdictions. His professional work has included international law and arbitration, cross-border commercial litigation and India–U.S. matters. The Foreign Attorney Associate capacity identifies the supervised firm role.

From Columbia to professional practice

Columbia Law School’s Fall 2025 alumni notes record the associate appointment following his LL.M. The move followed a year of advanced legal study, staff editing for the Columbia Human Rights Law Review and A Jailhouse Lawyer’s Manual, academic research assistance and participation in the Smith Family Human Rights Clinic.

A cross-border background

The New York appointment followed Indian legal education, a Supreme Court clerkship and litigation roles in India. His commercial-law research also addresses property, forum selection and civil procedure across legal systems. These experiences connect through research and writing while retaining their distinct professional and academic capacities.
