Sovereignty and responsibility to protect

Understanding the Legality of Doctrine of Responsibility to Protect(R2P), by Parth Singh, was written on 1 April 2020 and posted to SSRN on 23 March 2022. Its abstract examines the doctrine’s legal basis and the 2005 World Summit commitment concerning genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity.

Ocean-plastic pollution

Curbing Plastic Pollution in Oceans: Legal Challenges credits Parth Singh and Manav Sharma. The SSRN record cites Indian Bar Review 48(3–4), 2021, and gives a posting date of 28 March 2022. Its abstract addresses marine harm, regulation and producer responsibility.

Human rights and fossil-fuel infrastructure

During the Columbia LL.M., Parth contributed to clinic research undertaken with Amnesty International. The institution’s November 2025 account places the resulting report in the COP30 release context.
